Weight Loss ChartA weight loss chart is an invaluable tool for sustained successful weight loss and subsequent weight management. This type of approach has not been effectively examined in the scientific community, but from personal experience I can say that it has been the bedrock on which I created my weight management strategy. What exactly is a weight loss chart?Well a look at my own will help explain things. Back in the summer of 2002 I weighed in at 180lbs (81.6Kgs). That was quite a shocker for me. I decided a diet was in order. Well after messing about for a few months I realised I could tell nothing without an accurate set of scales and a record of my weight. So I bought the scales and I have been weighing myself (in kilos) ever since Oct 2002. Every day ... almost ... as you can see.
I wasn’t quite like this at the start - not as courageous if you like, or lacking in confidence to do it all the time. When I started back in 2002, I got to Christmas and thought ... ‘No Way! I am not weighing myself over the holiday period ... I want to enjoy myself!’ and I stopped weighing myself so I could not see the damage I was inflicting. [You can just see the gap over on the far left of the image at 77kg’s.] When I returned home from visiting and all the festivities, I started up again and found that the damage was not anything like as bad as I thought it could have been ... and after a while the weight started to fall off. You can see from my own personal weight loss chart that my weight has fluctuated at times, but every time that my weight looked like rebounding back into overweight territory (4 to 5 episodes according to my BMI), my self monitoring strategies helped me to successfully overcome the issue ... unlike so many other successful slimmers who have unfortunately succumbed to the vices of the bad old ways and returned to their prior weight or worse. When I started I had no tools available to me online, to instantly begin monitoring my weight accurately and in a very visual way. I started by creating my own Excel spreadsheet and had to re-learn how to plot a chart again. You can see a sample of my weight tables below too.
Almost 2600 days, or seven years of recording my daily weight with a brief note to explain things. Now you can simply register with sites like slimmersecrets.com and start your own weight loss chart ... achieve the weight you desire and pretty much stay there ... all at the push of a few buttons. Well with a few helpful secrets along the way! Register Now!One last thing to remember ... this is real life ... not some swanky medical research center with staff pouring over the literature trying to ‘create’ the ideal weight loss program that only works when the subjects attend the clinic regularly ... I am a regular guy with all the same vices as any other normal person ... and this is reflected in my chart. But seven years on I am still slim ... in fact slimmer than ever and as I get better and better at this game ... as slim as I want. Do you like the sound of that? I wonder how many attendees at academic research centers can confidently say that and show it too. Don’t get me wrong I am well aware of the excellent work many of these professionals are doing, but how many people can they help in their limited clinical environment? Not enough. Register Now!Bottom LineSo if you have ever wondered what the secrets of successful slimming are ... well in my opinion ... a weight loss chart, plotting your weight from your bathroom scales ... good, bad and ugly is one of them. |
